"Queenwood encourages each girl to truly reach for the stars and know that the world really is her oyster."
Emily is part of a multi-generational Queenwood family. She, her daughter, her sister-in-law, her mother-in-law (and her sisters), and grandmother-in-law are all Queenwood girls.
Queenwood encourages each girl to truly reach for the stars and know that the world really is her oyster. The strong values instilled in us enable us to face the world with strength, determination, and independence. A Queenwood Girl can be whatever she wanted to be and that confidence has shaped who I am.
I have so many favourite Queenwood memories. School camps were always a highlight, even for one like me who is not much of a camper! The physical challenges and the late-night snacking on lollies and biscuits we’d hidden in our bags are core memories.
I will always remember being so sad on the last day of my HSC exams in Year 12 thinking my days as a Queenwood girl were over, when really they were just beginning, and now I am the very proud mother to Olivia in Year 1.
